THE COOPERATIVE

corporate
social
responsibility

Che Orto plans to use only 100% electric machinery. In addition to the use of electric harvesters and seeders, holding tanks have been created on farms to recycle rainwater.

Nearly 80% of our growers use biodegradable mulching sheet or plastics, which do not need to be disposed of at the end of the production cycle because they are 100% degraded by water and microorganisms. At the end of each season, farms use the practice of green manuring or solarization, allowing the soil to be disinfected and purified without the use of chemicals.
